You Might Be Bad, but I'm Worse

After years receiving treatment in a mental institute, Ava leaves with Luna, her therapy dog, at her side. She wants to begin again in the suburbs, purchase a house, and build an ordinary, peaceful life. Yet settling into the neighborhood brings a new obstacle: the people around her repeatedly harass her. Ava works to remain composed with Luna’s support, but the hostility keeps escalating. When her neighbors threaten Luna’s life, maintaining control becomes harder, and Ava starts answering their cruelty with force of her own. Her history gives her a troubling advantage: she believes an insanity plea could shield her from the consequences of revenge. As conflict grows, the neighborhood becomes the setting for a struggle involving intimidation, retaliation, and questions about who Ava really is.
