The God King's Son and the Four Rascals of the Apocalypse

After reckless use of his power gets him expelled from the celestial realm, Alaric lands in Exile City without his divinity. A golden brand marks him, and the city’s harsh streets offer little refuge. Four orphans - fiery Wally, bookish Finn, serene Percy, and timid Daisy - attach themselves to him because of a strange connection to the mark. Their presence forces the fallen God King’s son to deal with more than his lost status. The children are vessels for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, while something far more dangerous stirs below the city. Vaya, Exile City’s corrupt ruler, is using citizens as living fuel to awaken a fragment of the Lord of Decay, and black rot begins to spread. Alaric must face the threat while seeking a way forward without the power he once abused. His survival may depend on the bond forming between him and the four children who chose to stay.
