A Zombie Girl’s Journey Home

After the apocalypse, Anya, burdened by severe social anxiety, deliberately infects herself to avoid both survival and human interaction. Instead of losing herself completely, she keeps her human consciousness while becoming a zombie with no combat ability. With a backpack and a destination to the south, she sets out to locate her family, facing a world where her unusual condition leaves her vulnerable yet separates her from ordinary survivors. Anya’s kindness repeatedly draws her into helping people along the road. Her journey brings her together with Zane, a cold and ruthless human killing machine; Leon, a powerful zombie fighter; Mia, a mad virologist; and an endearing zombie dog. As this unlikely group travels through the wasteland, Anya’s search for her family expands into a quest to understand the virus, while the companions confront danger, strange abilities, and the challenges of relying on one another.
