The Double Life of Mr President

Claire, a small-town girl who works at a fried chicken shop, accidentally enters the hotel suite of U.S. President William. After she helps him with an aphrodisiac's effects and aids his escape from gunshot-wounded pursuers, William proposes a contractual marriage. Claire assumes he is only a presidential body double, so she agrees to the arrangement without grasping his true position. The couple settles into a married life built on that misunderstanding, with Claire treating William as a stand-in rather than the president himself. The central conflict lies in the hidden identity that neither addresses directly. Claire remains unaware of William's real role, while he keeps his protective instincts and political duties separate from their domestic life. When the mafia kidnaps Claire, William arrives with a Special Forces team, and the truth about who he is finally collapses her assumption. The story traces how a contract marriage survives secrets, danger, and the moment identity can no longer stay hidden.
