Money, Robots, and a Happy 4th of July

Tobias Stark, known as the Iron Marine, comes home to a hero's welcome after a decisive victory. His peers invite him to a banquet with the President and other generals, but he turns them down because he has a date with the woman he intends to marry. That woman, however, has no idea who he really is, nor that he is the wealthiest man on the planet. She ends their relationship without warning, leaving Tobias to grapple with the sting of rejection. The central conflict is how this decorated soldier and secret billionaire will respond to being cast aside by someone who never knew the full truth about him. His answer to her rejection drives the story forward.
